This is why we have done our homework regarding window tint film regulations here in South Carolina, specifically the Camden area we reside in, and have broken them down for your ease of understanding.


There is a level of complexity behind the allowed darkness involved in window tint film treatments. For all vehicles, front side windows must can allow up to 27% of natural light in. Any shade on the rear passenger windows and rear glass can be any shade or tint darkness.. Windshield and reflective tint are not allowed/

  • How quickly can you roll down windows following tinting installation?

    we recommend 3 days/72 hours before rolling windows down and 5 days before cleaning your windows.

  • Do window tint films control internal temperature?

    Absolutely! One of the most beneficial characteristics of our Autobahn Window Film packages are that they both repel UV rays away from your interior surfaces and passengers and in doing so, defer infrared heat that can too often create an uncomfortable riding experience. This keeps everything and everyone safe in your car, truck, or SUV!

  • What happens if a tinted window gets cracked?

    Window tint films function in a similar fashion to paint protection films. Being a film that is adhered to your glass surfaces, cracks or anything that breaks glass will keep everything in place until the window can be replaced. When your window is replaced, we at Lumos Auto Club will then reapply a new window tint film.


  • Do window tint films impede on electronic devices and their signals?

    They do not. Window tint films only prevent heat-inducing infrared and ultraviolet rays from penetrating through to your vehicle’s interior; they will not interfere with radio waves, electronic signals, or any GPS technology you aveh in your automobile.
